Fresh Meat & Fish
True Nutrition Begins with Trusted Ingredients
Why Fresh Meat Matters
Dogs and cats are natural carnivores, which means their diet should be primarily based on meat. To ensure they receive the full benefits of animal proteins, it is essential to use fresh meat rather than processed sources. This approach provides:
- Proteins of superior nutritional quality – rich in essential amino acids, crucial for healthy metabolism and overall vitality.
- Greater digestibility – more nutrients are absorbed, leading to improved well-being and reduced stool volume.
- Irresistible taste – fresh meat offers the natural flavor that pets instinctively crave.
At Magros Eternity
All our fresh meats undergo the same strict health and quality controls as those intended for human consumption, without prior industrial processing.
What Types of Fresh Meat Do We Use?
Our recipes rely mainly on fresh chicken and turkey, as these proteins are especially digestible and provide all essential amino acids with high biological value. Depending on the formula, we also incorporate lamb, pork, or fish, offering tailored solutions for specific nutritional needs.
- We use only the most nutritious parts:
- Muscle – a natural source of proteins, healthy fats, and vitamins A, B, D, and K, along with minerals such as iron, selenium, zinc, and magnesium.
- Organs – rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and beneficial fats.
- Bone and cartilage – providing easily absorbed calcium, phosphorus, and other key minerals.
We never include feathers, beaks, or claws only fresh, high-quality cuts that truly contribute to your pet’s health.
Why Pets Need a Protein-Rich Diet
Proteins are essential for maintaining muscle, bone strength, skin, and coat health. Dogs and cats have evolved anatomically and physiologically to thrive on protein-rich diets:
- Sharp teeth and strong jaws designed to grip and tear meat.
- A short digestive tract specialized for breaking down animal proteins and fats efficiently.
- Enzymes and gastric juices perfectly suited for digesting meat-based proteins.
Understanding Biological Value
Protein quality is defined by its biological value the range and proportion of essential amino acids it contains, combined with digestibility and metabolic efficiency. The higher the biological value, the more effectively nutrients are absorbed and utilized, with minimal waste.
Since essential amino acids cannot be produced by the body, they must come directly from the diet. Fresh meat provides the richest and most complete profile of these vital nutrients.
How Much Protein Do Pets Need?
On average, an adult medium-sized dog requires around 3 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day, while cats need approximately 5 grams per kilogram. Healthy pets, however, can tolerate higher levels of protein without risk, benefitting from the energy and vitality it provides.
At Magros Eternity, we formulate every recipe to deliver the optimal protein content for dogs and cats, ensuring long-lasting health, strength, and vitality.
